- The Cosimo Maria Masini company is located in the hills of San Miniato, an ancient medieval village in the heart of Tuscany, the land of wines and white truffles.
- The villa, called La Selva, is an ancient dwelling that was once owned by the Buonaparte family. In the mid-nineteenth century, the Marquis Cosimo Ridolfi, founder of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Pisa, purchased the property.
- Among the different wine varieties produced here, is an almost extinct native vine called ‘Sanforte’, whose genetic heritage has fortunately been recovered.

- San Miniato: a very important Tuscan village dating back to the 8th century. Here, Napoleon Bonaparte came to claim the certificate of nobility of his family, which in fact had its origins in San Miniato.
