Nearby places to visit
Montalcino: the village of Brunello, one of the most evocative medieval cities of the Val d'Orcia. The town is made up of narrow and steep streets, full of museums, cathedrals and abbeys, with a unique panorama once you reach the top. In 2004 it was recognized as a World Heritage Site.
Abbey of Sant'Antimo: near Montalcino, one of the most beautiful Romanesque churches in Tuscany and one of the most beautiful in Italy is absolutely worth a visit. The origin of the abbey is lost in legend, at the time of Charlemagne: Sant'Antimo is a magical place where evocative Gregorian chants can still be heard.
