Experience description
Agona is the result of a project that has been intensely pursued by the Puccinelli family: they wanted to establish an eco-friendly company aiming to produce the highest quality of wines and offering the best possible reception for their guests.
The tour starts with a walk through the vineyards, then goes on to the winery, where Andrea and Nicoletta will talk about their philosophy and the production methods.
The tasting includes three red wines and a Millesimato sparkling wine, accompanied by a platter of cold cuts and local cheeses.

Curiosities
- The name Agona derives from the initials of the Puccinelli family: Andrea, Giorgia, Olivia, Nicoletta and Alice.
- The wine labels reflect the character attributed to each member of the family and are inspired by "The alienated" series of portraits painted by Jean-Louis André Théodore Géricault, a romantic painter from France.
Nearby places to visit
- Terricciola: An ancient village of Etruscan origin, as proven by the discovery of settlements in the hamlets of Morrona and Soiana, where there are necropolises dating back to the Hellenistic period with underground chamber tombs. The Belvedere Hypogeum is of particular interest.
- Peccioli: this village is one of the most beautiful in Italy and has plenty of attractions, such as the Bell Tower of Pieve di San Verano, the Museum of Russian Icons and the Archaeological Museum.
