Experience description
A suggestive walk through the vineyards and a tour of the historic farmhouse and winery, including a tasting of 5 different wines paired with a tuscan light lunch.
Fattoria Fibbiano is located on a sunny hillock in Terricciola, bordered by two streams. This farmhouse dates back to the 12th century, when it was owned by the Gherardi del Testa Barasaglia family. Since 1997, it has been managed by the Cantoni family who built the new winery in 2010. Its design is in perfect harmony with the surrounding Tuscan landscape and the estate is entirely self-sufficient thanks to its solar power system, and water and wood recovery plants. Today, Fattoria Fibbiano also serves as farmhouse featuring a wine bar where you can taste excellent products from all over Italy and abroad.
The experienced staff will lead the visit of the company, showing you the historic farmhouse, walking you through the vineyards and finally showing you the winery. Reach the tasting room -characterised by splendid barrel vaults- and taste 5 wines paired with an exquisite light lunch, including Tuscan bruschetta, mixed cold cuts, savoury pies, aged cheeses and pasta.

Curiosities
- The remains of Etruscan settlements found on the hill of the Fattoria lend credibility to the legend that has it that somewhere on this estate you can find "Fonte delle Donne", a mysterious source of water with healing powers.
- When the Cantoni family moved to Terricciola, it happened that, among the vineyards of Fattoria Fibbiano, near “Fonte delle Donne”, they found the white "Colombana" grape, which was identical to the one that they cultivated in Lombardy. Since then, they decided to name their first white wine after “Fonte delle Donne”, as they felt they were heirs to something started a long time before.
Nearby places to visit

- Peccioli: this village is one of the most beautiful in Italy and offers plenty of attractions, such as the Bell Tower of Pieve di San Verano, the Museum of Russian Icons and the Archaeological Museum.
