Experience description
Podere Fedespina dates back to the 1600s and is located on a hill 250 meters above sea level, surrounded by the green mountains of Lunigiana, with an incomparable view of the Val Magra, the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Apuan Alps.
Mirta Fedespina and Antonio Farina demonstrated that the upper Lunigiana has the credentials to produce quality and prestigious wines, in the best tradition of Tuscan reds, safeguarding the territorial specificity, without homologation with wines produced in other regions.
The experience includes a tour of the vineyards and the visit of the winery in order to illustrate the production processes, then we move on to the tasting room, with the tasting of the three red wines including Fedespina, pure Pinot Nero produced from over 40 vines years, accompanied by bread, cold cuts and cheeses.

Curiosities
- The history of the Fedespina family stems from a story handed down over the centuries and tells of an ancestor of the family, such Rossi the administrator of the Marquisate's assets who lived around the fifteenth century. He foiled a palace conspiracy against the Marquis Malaspina. The action of the fearless, for gratitude and loyalty to the family, was rewarded by giving him the surname Fedespina whose meaning is faithful to the Malaspina.
