Enjoy a guided tour of Colline di Sopra and taste their wonderful selection of wines. This organic and eco-sustainable company is located amongst the hills of Montescudaio and overlooks the Cecina river, just a few kilometres away from the sea.
The tasting allows you to retrace the history of Colline di Sopra, thanks to their “Colori” wine selection, peeking at their new “Sopra” series of pure single-varietal wines.
Your experience starts with a tour of the winery where you will learn everything about the terroir, the methods of organic cultivation and the different stages in the processing of grapes and wine.
Your experience will conclude with the tasting of 3 red wines from the "Colori" selection and the single-varietal Merlot wine from the "Sopra" selection.

- While walking through the vineyards, you will have the opportunity to find and collect fossil shells dating back to the Pleistocene period.
- The company pays great attention to environmental sustainability: it has a system for the collection and re-use of rainwater and is equipped with a photovoltaic system otherwise known as a solar power system.

- Montescudaio: undoubtedly one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, it offers plenty of historical buildings and churches to admire. At the top of the village, you will find the beautiful Piazzale del Castello, where you can enjoy breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
- Casale Marittimo: a medieval area that has remained almost untouched to this day. The village was given the Bandiera Arancione award by the Italian Touring Club and is set on a hill a few kilometres from the sea, offering stunning views of the coast and the islands of the Archipelago.
- Volterra: medieval village that preserves evident traces of the Etruscan past, such as the imposing walls that surround it, and Roman, like the remains of the theater. There are many places to visit, from the Etruscan Museum to the Duomo, the Palazzo dei Priori, the Medici Fortress and much more. From Volterra you can admire wonderful views of the Val di Cecina and the gullies.
- Bolgheri: in order to reach this village, you will need to walk down one of the most famous and charming avenues in the world, the Viale dei Cipressi. The many churches and the stunning castle which can be found in the town centre are just some of the attractions of this charming place, together with wine bars, taverns and restaurants offering traditional products.
