Experience description
The Combarbia was born in the early 1960s, in the town of Cervognano, known since ancient times for its natural predisposition to the cultivation of vines. Since 2016 it is driven by the passion of Gabriele who decided to continue the founder's activity, bringing innovation, such as the new winery and the use of new and more modern techniques of vine cultivation and winemaking.

Curiosities
- The company name is “Combarbia”. The word literally means a “crossroads”, a place that is where multiple roads come together and from which they branch off, giving the opportunity to those who are in this confluence to choose the path to follow. But the crossroads is also the resting place, of conversation and rest of the wayfarer.
Nearby places to visit
- Pienza: it is probably the most famous and most important artistic center of the whole Val d’Orcia. It is not far from the Cassia state road and from the other two important centers of the valley, San Quirico d’Orcia and Castiglione d’Orcia. The historic center was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.
- Montepulciano: of ancient and long history, it has origins from the Etruscan people from the 4th century BC. A unique village with elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, splendid squares and small hidden corners, from which you can enjoy a fabulous view over the Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana.
